A tunnel-locating probe and a hole cutter are sold together in the Swissinno Accessory Kit. Push the probe into the ground in places where you think there is a tunnel. When the probe actually strikes a tunnel, it will suddenly plunge into the ground without resistance. Install the trap where the tunnel is straight and horizontal as possible. 2. Using the cutting tool cut a 6cm diameter hole down into the tunnel and a further 1-2 cm down into the tunnel bottom. Remove or press flat any soil that has fallen into the tunnel. 3. Insert the trap into the hole. Position it so that its opening coincides with the tunnel's direction and depth. Pull the handle up to its full extent to set the trap. 4. Spread loose soil, grass and leaves around the exposed part of the trap to completely block out light and air from the hole. 5. The trap is now set ready to strike. Check the trap after one day at the latest. Often, however, it takes only a few hours until a catch is made.
